| Longevity of Bridge | In actual fact, a dental bridge should last for many years. Nevertheless, the life expectancy of any bridge isn't completely up to your dentist - it is greatly impacted by factors under your own control, like your diet and how well you look after your teeth.
The life expectancy of the bridge depends upon materials it made of. Some dental clinics are so confident of the quality of their bridges that they guarantee them for 3 to 5 years (of course depending on the material used) in normal use.
Some dental clinics guarantee all private fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers and inlays for at least 2 years in normal use, providing the following:
Patient attends the practice for check-ups at least once every 12 months.
Patient attends the practice for routine hygiene appointments at least once every 12 months.
The failure is not attributable to external force/trauma.
But you should note that most of dental clinics do not apply guarantee to root canal treatment.
